Save a horse, ride a cowboy...

Yeah, just a song I heard in a pub last night. Somehow it was extremely funny for our little jillaroo/jackaroo group...I think we were all over-exhausted.

So, I'm back in Tamworth. Back to civilization after five days of no phone coverage or Internet. I can barely type anymore, it seems my brain has re-wired and can't find the correct letters after such a long break. I desperately need to do laundry as all my clothes smell of horses and campfire and God knows what else and I'm pretty sure at least 20 different substances can be found in my jeans.

But I had such an awesome week. And now everyone's leaving and it makes me sad. I e-mailed some people about possible farm jobs and if that doesn't work out, I think I'll head back to Sydney or maybe Brisbane. I find myself longing for a big city even though I couldn't wait to leave one a week ago. How strange.

I'll make a longer post about the course and stuff at some point later. Got to go do that laundry now.

I miss my horse. His name was Booligul and he was beautiful. Though he kept biting everyone.

Ugh. If ever there was a place where I've felt completely an outsider, it would be Alice Springs. The Aboriginals here are scary and, quite frankly,…

  • Wineries on the left, wineries on the right...

Hmm, so apparently McLeod's Daughters is filmed in Barossa Valley. Wouldn't have thought that, since when I watched it I never saw anything…
