It's hot even though it's not even really hot

So, the wireless Internet access at Starbucks would have been like $14 an hour. WTF???? Yeah, that so did not happen. There's a place next door to the hostel with one dollar per hour but so far we've been too damn lazy to drag our butts over there.

I can't even remember what we did yesterday. I remember doing laundry and going out to dinner to an amazing Thai restaurant. OMG. The best food ever. I have to stop eating out but I've never been a fan of cooking in hostel kitchens and one can only take in a certain amount of Subway etc...oh yeah and we walked like 10k again (or it felt like it) and fell asleep afterwards. Sleeping during the day was not the brightest idea.

Today we walked over the Harbour Bridge and made plans. Ida's going to Alice Springs on the 4th of March and we're both pretty much done with Sydney by now - it's nice and all but rather expensive and it's kind of time to move on. So I'll be going to Tamworth to do my farm/jillaroo course on the 2nd and maybe that would get me a farm job *crosses fingers*. But if they make me slaughter a sheep or watch one being slaughtered I'm just going to keel over and die. I wonder if I can manage to stay on a horse after not riding in like ten years.

However, we are not moving on from here until we've seen the beaches, so tomorrow, weather allowing, we might head to the legendary Bondi Beach. Which apparently is all hype and total crap in reality but heck, can't leave Sydney without seeing it. Then again the weather forecast goes as follows: Thursday: Fine. Partly cloudy. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds. Dangerous surf conditions developing during the day. Meep...well, it's not like we'll be surfing. Swimming would be nice...

We're also planning a day trip to the Blue Mountains and another to Canberra next week. So yeah, until jobs happen, we'll be living VERY cheaply when it comes to food and entertainment.
